Method
- Whisk together the flour, salt, baking powder, and sugar in a large mixing bowl. Then, add the milk and eggs and whisk again to combine.
- Pour in the melted butter and vanilla and stir just until mostly smooth. Take care not to over-stir the batter (you want some tiny lumps to remain). Turn on the waffle iron and let the batter rest while it heats up.
- Pour batter onto the hot waffle iron, and cook according to the manufacturer’s directions. Serve warm!
