Method
- Set a large skillet on the stove over medium heat. Butter the outer sides of the bread while the pan heats up.
- Set the bread in the center of the pan, buttered side down. Move them about a bit to ensure the bottoms are evenly coated with butter. Then, top each slice with half the cheese.
- Add a tbsp of water to the edge of skillet, then cover for about a minute. The water will steam to help melt the cheese faster.
- Once the cheese has melted a bit, carefully flip one slice onto the other. Cover again for about a minute, then flip again. Continue flipping until the sandwich is finished cooking.
