Method
- Preheat the oven to 350°F. Grease a 9×13 baking dish. Whisk together the butter, cocoa, brown sugar, and white sugar in a mixing bowl. Then, add the eggs and vanilla. Whisk again until smooth. Then, add the flour and stir until combined.
- Pour into the prepared dish and spread the thick batter evenly to the corners. Scatter chocolate chips across the top. Then, bake for 22-24 minutes, until a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs. Let cool completely before frosting.
Frosting
- Using a hand mixer or stand mixer, combine the butter and cream cheese. Then, add the powdered sugar to the mix in portions until desired sweetness is reached.
- Top the brownies with the frosting. Serve immediately.
